I have been forced to do an Update to the FAQ server, due to the
criminal activities of a user who has nothing better to do thatn to
commit felony crimes.
Glenn Chartrand has been permanently added to the FAQ as a SPEMMER for
posting off-topic messages, committing Class 3 Felony harassment by
computer, Class 3 Felony sending obscene email to the FAQ Maintainer.
He is now forging email headers and sending out obscene and harassing
email usingmy name as the sender. MSN TV has had the emails faxed to
them, and they have been notified that we will be prosecuting them.
Glenn Chartrand seems to be selling Illegal copies of Copyrighted
videos on VHS and DVD, as his only source of income, and he posted
this off-topic posts avout Desiree Cousteau videos to the Traci Lords
Mailing Lists that I am a subscriber to.
I responded to his SPAM, and was offering to TRADE HIgh Quality DVDs
made from the Laserdiscs of several Desiree Cousteau videos that I was
sent in trade. Copyright Law clearly states you can NOT sell copies
of Copyrighted Material without permission of the Copyright owner. I
tried to offer High Quality Copies from Laserdiscs, 482 lines of
resolution with True Dolby Digital Stereo Sound, and this SPAMMER
instead of saying okay, starts sending me over 20 Obscene and
harassing emails. NOTE: He claims I am selling illegal videos, when
HE is SELLING ILLEGAL COPIES of Copyrighted Material, as well as
videos DEEMED CHILD PORN in Canada.
He still continues to do this, and all these emails sent to the USENET
ONLY EMAIL ADDRESS have been sent to MSN TV, owners of Web TV, and
Legal action is being taken.
He tries to get my email account closed saying that by sedning him
PRIVATE, PERSONAL email, I am somehow PUBLICLY DEFAMING HIM.
IT IS ILLEGAL TO POST PUBLIC MESSAGES THAT ARE NOT TRUE.

Equipment. He used this electronic Test Equipment to STEAL CABLE
PROGRAMMING.
Kristofer Danner then lied to the State Police who ILLEGALLY STOLE and
DESTROYED 2 Scientific Atlanta Set Top Boxes that I owned, valued at
$1,200.00.
Federal Law clearly states: Private citizens can OWN their OWN CABLE
EQUIPMENT to use, as long as it is compatible with the cable system.
The Search Warrant READ: Seize anything USED to receive unauthorized
Cable Programming.
FACT: They seized my computer. My computer has no TV tuner card in
it, it can not receive any TV programming whatsoever. I suppose my TV
could do such a thing, but wouldn't it have to be hooked up to CABLE?
I suppose the cable boxes could receive cable tv, just like a tv set,
but wouldn't they have to be OUT of the BOX, Plugged in, and actually
connected to a cable which was then hooked to the TV set?
Sorry, my TV was hooked up to an Antenna and only received local on
air programming.
The State Police said it was because I was advertising: Get rid of
CABLE. But then, every Digital Satellite Dealer is advertising that
to this day. Why didn't they go after Sears, Kmart, Wal-Mart, and all
the other Digital Satellite Dealers?
FACT: While others are giving away FREE 3 room DirecTV systems, I am
giving away FREE 5 room DirecTV systems. I also give away FREE Dish
Network Systems as well. Am I afraid the State Police are going to
knock on my door again? NO, they LEARNED their lesson, and they will
pay me the $1,200.00 for my Cable Boxes they STOLE and DESTROYED!!
There is NO LAW saying that a person who doesn't subscribe to cable
can't have a set top decoder device. I guess if I was a cable
subscriber they couldn't have taken them, but because I didn't have
cable, they figure you can't own anything.
Gee, those cable boxes only tuned in the channels, same as any Cable
Ready TV or VCR does, they didn't descramble any scrambled channels.

for Cable Theft and moved to Texas. Where he probably still lives in
his Mother's basement and calls it Apartment 7. Time Warner Cable has
been informed they have a convicted Cable Thief using their Cable
Modems and Cable TV and that they should check for any ILLEGAL
equipment being used to receive unauthorized cable programming.
The Videos that I listed for sale, are all as described, the RETAIL
Videos as they were purchased from the Canadian Distributor, and the
copies from the distributor, and the Retail Boxed French DVDs.
I have been selling these videos for over 5 years, and users that have
bought from me know the quality. Due to recent actions by Canadian
Customs, they seize any video with Traci Lords in it, you may not be
able to get these videos from Canada anymore, so once the ones I have
are gone, they may be gone forever.
Videos wear out, play after play and videos only have a shelf life of
10-15 years, some DVD conversion places say they last less than 20
years, but I use what the industry says. DVDs, like Laserdiscs and
CDs will last over 100 years if properly cared for, have higher
resolution, don't degrade play after play, and have true dolby digital
stereo sound.
I am a collector of Traci's videos, and am preserving my retail tapes
on DVD, and I offer the same service to anyone who owns any of her
Retail Videos, VHS/Beta/Laserdisc, for a flat fee of $25.00 per video.
If you check around on the net you will find the price is anywhere
from $49.95 to $99.95 or higher to do the same thing.
We do NOT use CONSUMER GRADE stand alone DVD recorders. We use
Professional Pioneer DVD Recorders, Professional Capture Hardware,
Professional Video Editing Software. If you ever play a Video Tape
you notice the red green and blue spots that appear in the picture?
That always happens with magnetic media. We can remove or reduce
significantly those spots, and we can sharpen, enhance, and restore
the degraded video to as close to original as possible, and it will be
preserved on digital media that will NEVER degrade or wear out no
matter how many times you play them.
We only accept RETAIL Boxed videos that you OWN, because under
Copyright Law, YOU, the owner have the right to convert the media to
other types. We offer NTSC, PAL, SECAM conversion from VHS/Beta, and
convert to NTSC DVDs which are region free that can play anywhere in
the world.
PAL and SECAM format DVDs may be available at a later date.
If you have Retail Videos and you want them preserved on DVD, because
they are valuable to you, and you know they won't be released by any
DVD publisher in the future, don't keep playing the tape to degrade it
further, get it converted now by a trusted and reliable conversion
facility.
For those with video tapes of some Adult Movies, email us for a list
of Adult Laserdiscs we have, because if you own the video and want
them on DVD, the Laserdisc is the superior source for the material,
and as long as you own it, we will provide the conversion for the same

Please note the resolutions: VHS 220-240 lines of resolution, Beta
250 lines of resolution, SuperBeta 270 lines of resolution, SuperVHS
400 lines of resolution, Laserdisc 400-487 lines of resolution
depending on CAV or CLV mode, DVD 500-540 lines of resolution
depending on compression used. They all look BAD on HDTV, but until
the Holographic Discs come out, we're stuck with low resolution
digital media.

recorded on a T-75, and the last 3-5 minutes of the video is missing,
the tape rewinds right when his parents return and the hooker is on
her way out the door. Believe me, I don't think Dreamland Home Video
will replace the defective tape with one of the correct length. We
guarantee our videos are complete, uncut, unedited, and replace any
defective media. If you can find a better deal somewhere else, then
by all means go there. Remember, we can improve, correct, and restore
the original VIDEO on our DVDs with our Professional Editing
Equipment. Most others can just supply degraded video copies, or DVD
copies of the degraded video.
