Need Some Help From Any Serious Traci Experts/Collectors

Hi everyone!

Long time, no hear. I trust everyone has been doing well.

I see this forum has degenerated somewthat to a spam board, but
hopefully a few of the veterens that frequent here periodically can help
me out with a question I have.

I have a question about the boxcover art for the 1984 KINKY BUSINESS.

Was our gal Traci even on the box or mentioned in the credits on the
box? Someone has told me that she did NOT appear on the original release
boxart and her name was also NOT in the box credits.

Her name was allegedly added with a distributor "sticker" (e.g., that
Traci Lords was in the film) so to speak. This is one of her earlies
films, and her screen time in KB was about 8 minutes.

Can any Traci expert/serious collector shed some light on this for me?

Also, does anyone have a good source for boxcover art? I'm looking for
boxcover art for OPEN UP TRACY, KINKKY BUSINESS, ONE HOT NIGHT OF
PASSION and several others. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Is
there a site out there that has a collection of these that can be
downloaded (and eventually made into a hard copy?)

Not sure if anyone will read this, but it was worth a try.

Have a good one, and take care!

Best regards,

John

Absolutely correct - the box used for edited re-releases today is
identical in all respects to the box released in 1984 - no Traci seen
or mentioned.

Correct again. A gold foil sticker was added saying "introducing
TRACU LORDS the sensational September PENTHOUSE Centerfold". Screen
time - I'd make her scene more like 9 minutes, plus there's
another30-40 seconds of nonsex material near the beginning when the
girls arrive at Tom's house.

Don't know you personally John, but if some of the regulars can vouch
for you, there might be some help available.

Haven't had a lot of time lately, but I'm starting to come back

Well, I've done a few trades with him and gotten good quality stuff. I know
that he sells as well, but I've never seen him trying to pull an Ortman.
